Periodic Inspection/ Electrical Installation Condition Reports/ EICR
These will:
- reveal if any electrical circuits or equipment is overloaded
- find any potential shock and fire hazards in the installation
- identify any defective DIY electrical work
- highlight any lack of earthing or bonding
Tests are also carried out on wiring and associated fixed electrical equipment to check that it is safe and a schedule of circuits is developed during the inspection.
Periodic Inspection [ EICR ] is the inspection of the condition of an existing electrical installation, identifying in order of priority any deficiencies against the national safety standard for electrical installations, BS7671: 2018
Emergency Lighting Periodic Inspection and Testing Certificates
These will
- Identify deviations from the current standard.
- Highlight performance or operating defects.
- Provide information for the Duty Holder of the systems operating status, facilitating the client's assessment on risk management.
