Periodic Inspection/ Electrical Installation Condition Reports/ EICR
These will:
- reveal if any electrical circuits or equipment is overloaded
- find any potential shock and fire hazards in the installation
- identify any defective DIY electrical work
- highlight any lack of earthing or bonding
Tests are also carried out on wiring and associated fixed electrical equipment to check that it is safe and a schedule of circuits is developed during the inspection.
Periodic Inspection is the inspection of the condition of an existing electrical installation, identifying in order of priority any deficiencies against the national safety standard for electrical installations, BS7671: 2018
Emergency Lighting Periodic Inspection and Testing Certificates
These will
- Identify deviations from the current standard.
- Highlight performance or operating defects.
- Provide information for the Duty Holder of the systems operating status, facilitating the client's assessment on risk management.
